idle will be higher when first start car cause of automatic choke..then drops when gets to temperature..maybe ur idles adjust is set to low..when car is warm and idle drops..then adjust it to where sposed to be..(800-900ish)
to adjust there is a flast head screw on intake manifold..has little black cap covering it.
