you have the wiper blades on backwards!
the sloped side is supposed to face the forwards

see if you can flip the locking mechanisms around so that you can install the blades in the proper direction

don't believe me? check out what the stock GH Mazda6, CX-7, CX-9, ZZE140 wiper blades look like

what you have is essentially the same
check the advertisement pic in that GB thread too... it shows what I'm talking about too
