Hey guys- I want to know if anybody has come across this before
I brought some nolethane bushes for the front and rear swaybars of my BA, and I went for the biggest sizes they had in the catalogue, which were 24mm front and 18mm rear. They didn't fit
After a bit of back and forth with 3 auto shops ( I needed the part tonight
and some measuring, I found some nolethane bushes to fit my car, which were 27mm front and 20mm rear, sourced from some other mazda.
So have I got a (dare I say it) special lantis with larger than standard swaybars? Or was this maybe phased in with newer versions?
I have 2 type R lantis donor cars- and I compared my current car against their sway bars. They had 24mm front and 18mm rear both.
All these cars are either '93 or '94 models, only difference being my current car has abs (where as the other '94 car doesn't)
So stoked cause if I hadn't found some front bushes then my engine install this weekend would have been stalled. (promise I'll start a worklog..)
