The factory mazdaspeed protege ecu does not plug into the aussie sp20's loom as once thought. the connectors are totally different.
In saying that, I have bitten the bullet and have gone ahead with getting a ems stinger installed and tuned.
a expense that was unexpected.
The u.s. non turbo and turbo protege's, when people do conversions, all they do is switch the ecu and utilise the same afm, loom, etc...
I'll try to offload it back the u.s.
