you don't need to adjust the hand brake... you need to adjust the rear calipers first so that the pads will get applied sooner!

you should be glad you don't have ABS on this car.... the BJ's ABS system is rubbish! It's overly sensitive and activates too soon! The rear sensors are also prone to getting stuffed

I don't remember... do you have rear drums or rear discs?
