Roil Gold Metal Conditioner




Roil Gold oil additive is an anti-friction metal conditioner which reduces engine heat by reducing friction and increasing heat transfer. It has been formulated to meet and exceed MIL-L-2105C and API service classification GL-2GL-5 for today's high performance car and truck standard and automatic transmissions, differentials, axles and power providers. Here's some extracts from a test program I did with the Skylines Australia forum back in 2004... the complete, un-edited, as it happened, me coping alot of crap along the way, can be found HERE!

Agreed, the only way to know for sure it to try it! Funny how only those that haven't tried it knock it, yet once you put your money where your mouth is, and give out samples to try, people change their tune pretty quickly!

but i wont try it cause it will rip my engine to schreds i saw that written down in fairy land somewhere...


on a more serious note... greg you gave me a sample bottle over a year ago and it worked...helped my tappet noisees and so on...made the oil last a bit longer too...i was pleased with it i might get another bottle to put in with my gearbox oil soon tooo...when i get back from canberra...

For any product that isn't well known there'll always be caution. But I reckon the only way to find out is to try it, and if it doesn't work then i won't buy it again, but if it does then i guess i will. Will keep y'all posted on how it goes.

Retail is $52.10, and there's VERY little on this. To the point where if you knew what it cost, you'd wonder by I'd bother... So I made the 'special' $55 which includes a 1kg $8 air satchel around Aus...

So how much of the bottle do you add at a time? is it a single use thing. I guess it will work well for any car, not just performance engines

Yep, will definately work for any car. Being a metal conditioner and not an oil additive as such, you're not required to fill up at every oil change, and its effects aren't lost in an oil change, provided you've given it about 1000km ish to do its job.

480mL for $55 shipped is generally enough to do engine and gearbox of a small capacity car, and about 15mL left over to throw in the power steering.

umm, not sure actually.. prolly done about 700-1000k's since adding it..

althought, i filled alot up with power steering as well and engine, i will buy another one for the gearbox when i go out to get the oil for it and can be bothered to flush it

with all seriousness.. cost $45ish.. worth its weight in gold.

the car sounds and feels alot more refined now.. not some old loud POS that it used to be!

excelent stuff here greggles..

sshhh... don't say that sort of stuff out loud... there's heavily outspoken critics on here that refuse to accept or try the stuff!

700-1000k's is good... Generally give it around 1000-1200 to do its thing. As it treats the metal, and not the oil itself, you could change your oil now and not lose any of its benefits... It does slowly over time wear off, as metal wears away, but a half dosage every second oil change will keep things in shape!
