Smile Electrical problem

hey guys, I have just a small electrical problem that has just happend of late.

when ever I pop my car into reverse, it pops a fuse, and I lose my Rev thingy and my indicators.

the fuse it pops is the 3rd one across from the Top.

any ideas?
car is a 1990 BG SP

bloody ghosts......?

dont forget to mention the turbo...goto auto electricians i reckon...unless if your wires from the gearbox (for reverse lights) are hitting some other leads...

Do the reverse lights actually go on?

except the reverse signal is a negative signal... which makes me think its a short in the lighting, or the lights are drawing too much current

do u loose dash lights,tail lights? cause they are in the one circuit..one stage my wiring for tails crossed and my dash lights and tails stop working..assuming that the reverse sensor light would be included in this curcuit?

weird thing is that, my hazards still work, my front lights work, and my brake lights work too, ill check if the reverse lights actually come on........

edit: my dash lights work too

hazards lights arn't fused - they are an emergency circuit and are only fused by the main fuse

dash has its own fuse usually its the room fuse
