BG Astina - Single Din or Double Din?

I'm going to install a replacement head unit. Its only a very basic system and I have access to single and double din head units.

What is going to be easiest to install without having to buy extra pockets and stuff? Will the double-din unit just mount up without any modifications?

i have a double din in mine
fits fine. also is a btter replacement then a single din if you are going straight from stock...otherwise you will need to buy another spacer if you are really picky about gaps

Thanks mate, I think I will just go with the double din unit.

Is it just a straight bolt-in job? I've installed plenty of car audio stuff before but don't want to get trapped by some pesky security screws or something when I'm installing.

its been a long time since i took the original out but that one is held in by the mounting cage and thats it... problem is you need to take out everything from the ashtray for the rear right up to the fascia plate. 7 screws total
