Prorack Whispbar for BA Astina Hatch
I want to fit one of these Whispbar roof racks to my 98 BA Astina hatch, but am a bit lost as to which mounting kit to use.
The car has integrated mounting points, but the suggested kit involves drilling holes in the roof and permanently pop riveting the rack to the car. Sounds to me like someone in head office has their wires crossed, or a specialist kit was never made for the BA Astina mounting points, because its too old. Has anyone installed a Whispbar system on their BA Astina and if so, which mounting kit did you use? Cheers |

They look so close in design to the oem stocko ones. Id investigate the stocko ones before retrofitting aftermarket ones.

Sounds interesting. Didn't actually think of that option. I guess I assumed they wouldn't be available any more.
