Busted lock actuators? Get a new gear on eBay
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Door-Lock-Act...#ht_5515wt_907
I know one of mine broke, replaced it with one from the wreckers. This isn't much cheaper but might be an option where you can't get the part from the wreckers. |

dyu know if they work? i need to fix the actuator in my rear left door. the wreckers quoted me 66 for one. Im not too keen on paying that much just for an actuator so this could be a better option if it works...

i'd be buying the 2nd hand actuator. unless you feel like pulling apart the old one to replace the gear.

Yeah there are a few springs in the actuator that can fly off if you're not careful.
If it's making a sort of grinding noise then the motor is fine but the gear has snapped. |

Well... I got sick of the guys I was going to buy the whole actuator from and decided to buy one of the cogs off ebay. so far so good. Despite them sending the wrong one it still works fine.
