NIGHTMARE CV CHANGE!!!!
WELL ,I THOUGHT ALL I HAD TO DO WAS POP THE CAR UP ON THE RAMPS- AND CHANGE THE CV'S AT A NICE LEASURELY PACE........."I DON'T THINK SO!!....JUST SPENT THE THE LAST THREE HOURS CHANGING ONE,ABANDONING THE OTHER TILL TOMOROW..
1.COULDN'T GET THE CV FREE FROM HUB,DESPITE SOME SERIOUS HAMMER ABUSE,BY WHICH TIME IT HAD MUSHROOMED AT THE END...WITH A SMALL SHAVING SLASHING MY BROTHERS HEAD!! 2.MANAGED TO DAMAGE A COUPLE OF CAPTIVE WHEEL NUTS,ACTUALLY KNOCKING THEM OUT FROM THE BASE PLATE AND RE-PROFILING THE THREADS WITH A HUMBLE HACKSAW! 3.COULDN'T BUDGE THE BALL-JOINT,EVENTUALLY REMOVED THE ATTACHMENT PLATE ON THE WISHBONE INSTEAD!! 4.LOST THE SPRING CLIP FOR KEEPING THE PADS FROM RATTLING AROUND EVENTUALLY FINDING IT 30 MINS LATER.... UNDER MY NOSE.. 5.TO LATE TO START 2ND CV.....JUST AS WELL,AS THE BIG NUT DOESN'T FIT AND IT HAS TO GO BACK!!!!! AAAHHHHH!!!! F#@K!! PS..MY BROTHER SAYS THAT EVERY SINGLE MAZDA HE'S WORKED ON HAS ALWAYS GIVEN HIM SOME KIND OF BLOODY HEADACHE ! :x :x |
