whats the actual purpose of that thing? Just protection while ur parked?

moreso if you are doing a lot of highway driving, saves the bumper from stone chips

ahhh i c...wish the guy that had my car b4 me invested in one of these, my bonnet has bout a dozen chips down the front

. Barring a respray is there anything i can do to make it look half decent?

There was one on the Japan auctions for a long while, but it finally sold a little while back. I think it was imported from the US anyway though.
