Under power amps will fry subs quicker than over powered subs

Does the stuff just have an adhesive back, peel the blacking off and stick it on?
How thick is the actual piece you stick on?

that's correct it is a peel and stick the one im using the dynamat extreme is about 2-3mm thick but compresses to half when applied and rolled in place. I used it on my camry I had and it was the best investment I ever made to sound quality it helped stop rattles and helped improve the front stage so much its not funny.
once i finish the sound dampening basicly the whole car will be done
2 dynamat extreme door kits
1 dynamat extreme bulk pack boot and trunk lid
1 roll of dynapad for the floor
1 roll of 1/4 dynaliner for the roof

Sounds good. I've seen other do it, may do it in my next car. Do you have any intentions (or can you) of putting any in near and/or behind the dash?

you can put it any where you want i don't see the need to put it behind the dash since i don't have any speakers on the dash. but with the dynapad im using on the floor it will run all the way to just under the dash where the foot well is.

As Anthony and Rhys would know, it HAS to go all in the same direction. looks good. I found using a large ring spanner worked far better than those rollers. Obviously it takes loads longer but squashes it on awesome. Also it helps to clean with wax/grease remover first Giba. I put 5 boxes in my hatch.

Behind the dash is A LOT OF WORK! I stripped off the factory stuff. Covered in dynamat, then foam then 4mm thick 4kg/square meter rubber. It's a mission to put everything back. I would say waste of time unless trimming the dash or something. I spent hours and hours doing it. Yet to hear how well my diy setup works.

so after a few weeks of box designing and computer simulating I got cracking and started building a box.
ended up building a 2 cubic ft box with a 2inch port which is tuned to 32 hz.
its still not finished still need to give it a final sand after filling all the joins so It will be nice and smooth.
