I have read a bit about them through the forum. Reckon it'll be easier to just do it all at once though. Maybe down the track!

I have a feeling I might find out anyway, haha.

I'm curious as to how much louder it will be. Looking at videos from the outside of cars isn't very helpful in that regards. I'm hoping the guys at the shop will either help me get it right the first time for sound, or I might be able to try a few things out.

At the moment though, it's quiet as anything. Intake is audible 3K and up, but sitting at idle you can barely hear it at all. The exhaust that is. And I reckon I definitely hear more engine at high revs than exhaust note.

and they've just gone up $45, only think is being your cars a sedan so tips gotta be a little longer,

but as you said probly easyer to just get the hole lot done at once

These guys seem to do pretty quality stuff, stock pacemaker and magnaflow, so I reckon I'll be pretty happy with what I can get.

What's running no breather??

it's all the intake shrouting but you don't have that due to your CAI and pod filter

I'm still not sure I understand, but it's late and I think comprehension levels might be dropping.

before you put your pod on, there's your stock air box, a big tube that runs down in front of that, then the breather on the top near the radiator!
if that helps?

Nuuup. But that's more to do with my lack of mechanical knowledge than your explanation no doubt. But there's nothing of the stock left on my intake except the MAF sensor??

That would be cool. I've never understood how people do that without making it look like the setting changed...

Is that the full way through, or do you mean the muffler?

Car is at the exhaust shop! Taking a bit longer than expected, but lucky I only start work at 6pm.

So, exhaust is done, but unfortunately there's a bit of drone. I've heard the automatics do this? Might email the shop, but are there any cheap solutions?

(In my head, this sounds like the height of stupidity. Spend money to increase volume, and then more to decrease it, haha. /sigh)

let it set in for a week, first and then you could dynamat the boot floor if it doesn't go away
or stuff the muffler with steel wool
