What size do you think the butterfly is ?

Its nice to see others putting your gear up for sale too
I just wanted to give an idea of it's size. I may find my calipers and give it a proper measure. That way you can calculate the venturi as well.

OK,
Opening measures 68.5mm and butterfly 60mm. The manifold opening though (as pictured) is 105mm across and 67.25mm and would benifit more from a dual 50mm throttle-body which would be more than 50% larger and line-up better with the VICS butterflies (when open).

Adding the IAC wouldn't be too difficult.

KL-ZE TB (KL68) 60mm vs KF-ZE TB (KF33) 50mm
Thats about all the shots I have of my IM at present
They may help as a comparasin to yours Rod
If you have any shots from similar angles they would be great for the archives
Have fun with it

See what I can do, it won't be as clean as yours 'cos it's not mine.

Looks like the Millenia doesn't have a VICS system but should have loads more torque!!!

NO VICS
Just VRIS . Which are the 2wo red actuators in the second picture
This Millenia Manifold is supposed to have the best flow design for the KLs
This is the one from the KL-ZE which has the milder cams yet still makes the same power and torque as the other KL_ZE variant
But as all the IM they do tend to suffer with flow above 7000rpm

Yup same ****e different shovel
Basically set up to make full use of your runners by directing and controlling the airflow to the valves to give most stable and responsive rev range

KFZE: my engine is slowly putting along but as I am rebuilding the whole car at the same time things are bound to take a while
At this point its looking to be around July next year for release
At this point...
But a millenia KL-ZE with the KF-ZE cams would be a bit of a sleeper
Would be a great addition to the Astina lineup

Update....

Just installed again the KL68 throttle body onto my KFZE. Adjusted the TPS by using trial and error.

Results : Idling without a/c good at 750rpm. Idling with a/c on is around 800 rpm.

Observations : Throttle response seems lighter, even with a/c on. A little touch on the accelerator and the car is willing to go.

Top end wise, i felt its even more easier. Lighter response and its eager to move across the 4000rpm upto 6500rpm.

Good upgrade ! Now, I will measure on the effects to the fuel consumption.

Will Update again.
