In my Eunos 500 all windows worked for 5 min after the key was removed from the ignition or until the drivers door was shut.

I have marked out the areas of the chassis that I want to cut in order to get proper ducted air flow to the air filter

Also, test mounted the power steering cooler and lines. It will still be a bit of a job but I reckon that it won't be impossible

Also, need to drill the number plate holes in the bumper. Add that to a long list

Still a ways to go but no real trouble ............. yet.
Oh yeah, its gonna look sweet!!

When it gets done! The rain today is putting a real dampener on things

On the bright side, I threw the correct fuse for the horn in and it works a treat! It is farken loud! It scared the bejebuz out of everyone in the house when I tested it

Other than that I have pretty much fixed up the number plate mounts on the bumper and done some general tidy ups.

I'm out and about to tomorrow, so I might have to try and finish it up on the weekend

Worked out the rear speakers in my car distort well before the fronts do. So I unplugged them and set the fade towards the rear. That way the fronts are relatively quieter than the bass and can go twice as loud. Making the bass much clearer without having to increase the bass setting on the headunit and distorting my music

Finished installing my new power steering cooler! Tomorrow night I will fill up the power steering fluid by filling up the reservoir and running the car for a bit - then filling up some more (and running the car a bit more) - until it is at the right level.

No pics at the moment. Will get some either tomorrow morning or later in the evening. IF it ever stops raining

Only the bumper and lip to go after that!!!

Just a quick update to let you all know what's been happening with the 8. I haven't gotten the kit repainted yet, as the shops were closed over the ny break. I have a appointment to get them in there soon but I'm hoping that the flash floding stops by then, last thing I want is to spend x hours work on it to have it literally washed away.. Another thing I have done is gotten a moulded box made up form the boot corner. Haven't run any wires yet as, again I'm waiting for the weather to clear up..
That's just some of many plans regards to the car that have been put on hold.
**** I hate this rain..

Finally, finally, finally put on my new front bumper and Mazdaspeed lip!

Here is a sneak peek.

The car needs a good clean after all the rain.

Also, did the following:
- installed new horn
- installed new power steering cooler
- trimmed the chassis under the front bumper to get more cold air onto the filter

I will do a detailed write-up in the project log in the nest week or so

Yup!

I have them at home and will be preping them to go on the car shortly. It was just a bit too much work to get them ready for this install.
