I reccomend Lucas brake pads to go with these rotors too. I understand they make a lot of brake dust, just look at the imported euro cars, ie: BMW, Opel/Holden... But they have a great temperature range and should make good use of these rotors without suffering cracking and becoming brittle due to enthusiastic braking.
Hopefully I will have some idea by the end of this week as to final pricing. I apologise for the delay, but Andrew and I need to sort out the legals before we can work out what rate we charge if GST applies or not. Take it easy, Gav. |

I would like prices please on DBA216's in Gold and DBA546's for the rear in Gold.
As for the golds cracking its usually the pad used. A high friction pad is fine but not a high temp. I am only going to do spirited road anyway if i want to race will buy another set of rotors and pads for that. Ta Mal

Gav, would you have any objections if I extend this offer over to the Fordlaser.com guys?

If you don't mind holding off until Andrew and I have the paperwork sorted out, I would prefer it. As it is, we are not ready to buy anything until early-mid next week if everything goes according to plan. As it is, the list we have now is good enough for me to get the best discount I can from the supplier. If we can get more interest again it would be worth me finding a supplier in each state to help reduce the cost of postage again. I'll see what I can chase up on this today...
Cheers, Gav. |

I'm interested too, for a '95 BA astina
those part numbers ( 2xDBA533S, 2xDBA534S ) look like the 2-piece 5000 series. Why those rather than the 4000s ? |

1. ROB80E - 2xDBA4545S (MX5 nsw)
2. DeeJay_RyRy - 2xDBA533S, 2xDBA534S (BA 97 1.8 qld) 3. Astina_GianT - 2xDBA533S, 2xDBA534S (BA 95 1.8 where?) 4. 323_mazdabator - 2xDBA533S (BG 90 1.8 qld) 5. BigMal - 2xDBA216X (3000GT), 2xDBA546X (MX5 nsw) 6. Osprey06 - 2xDBA931S (BF10 87 2WD act) 7. Dogo - 2xDBA533S, 2xDBA534S (BA 95 1.8 vic) The part no.s are fine, eg: mine woud be 2xDBA537S, 2xDBA539S if I was to order some for me. DBA4000 and 5000 series rotors are not mad to fit Astinas of any vintage... It's starting to look pretty busy there, but I have added some info to make sure there are no stuffups down the track. WOW, the way things are going I might see if I can push my supplier for another 5% discount! Gav. |

I should have final pricing worked out by Friday for those in NSW and QLD, we need to look into shipping for VIC and ACT still... |

HI-RES - 2xDBA532S (BJ 1.6 qld) SehKhan has some Bendix pads with his front only slotted rotors, and he is very happy with them. Althought he's commented on some ticking noises when he first got that package, perhaps that was the pads bedding in with the rotors? |

In your case it's the DBA533 which is suitable for the front.
