ha ha what have i done today

The reason i laugh, i spent an hour trying to take the subs etc out, decided it was too hard, so i put it back together, now it squeaks on bumps and the sub volume doesnt work properly, god i should have paid someone.
Then i washed her (photos in my album) i took some new pictures and discovered that i am not quite a photography god.

Sprayed the wheel well area with $2 paint to protect from rust, as its going to be covered with insulation. Came out brilliantly for the way I did it...

Here's where I have given up tonight...

Took out the 6" in the front and replaced them with SoundStream 5" x 7", and fixed my broken mirror (self tapering screws ftw) Also painted both of the side mirrors matt black, intresting look. Might go gloss white when i paint the wheels as well. And cut out the speaker grill in the driver and passenger doors, i like it Ill take some pics tomorrow

let the paint cure for a while mate.... you might want to hang a space heater above it.... do not let the heater directly contact anything in your car, it might get too hot for the paint, old or new

heat helps paint cure harder and faster, that way when you put the dynamat on, it'll stay on good!

Working on the mrs 2005 swift, changed the rear oxygen sensor, as that was failed. Got to sort out the main O2 sensor in the manifold tho.
Throws up a P0031 for less than a second then goes to a P0000
So will check all the wiring, clean the terminals etc. and see how we go from there.
If I clear the error code after a couple of seconds after start up, it won't throw the error code at all (even after a long drive) until you turn off then turn back on the car again.

Also it needed new wipers, gave the afm a clean, checked plugs air filter etc etc....
Little 1.5 actually goes pretty hard once it's on VVT! Ahaha

Oh and as usual... My car sat there next to me crying coz its so dirty, and needs the throttle body, afm and air filter cleaned.
Also needs a rear sway bar..... Realllllyyyyyyyy sucks driving Round without a rear swaybar In been 2 weeks and Its driving me insane... Handles like a boat

Gernied the preludes engine from yesterday's drive to Brisbane at the car wash today. Need to fix the head gasket baaaad! I want to attempt to do it myself but i have no idea how. (Not trusting myself ) So if someone wants to assist me that'll be good!

The Mazda got vacuumed, hasn't had a bath in about a month due to the fact that were on tank water and it hasn't rained in over 6 weeks and i refuse to take it to a carwash haha.

Both. Layer of dynamat for vibrations, layer of foil insulation for heat, layer of 3mm vinyl for sound.

Managed to get all the way to the wheel well done this arvo. Will do that maybe next weekend. Started sticking the foil down on the floor and firewall. Then dash install soon, woot!

Smart ass.

Normally were fine since we have a total of 48000L or something ridiculous. However we've completely ran out of one tank, which is like OH DAMN! And my parents dont understand the fact that my car needs to be clean at all times. Apprently we need the water more? haha
I'll wash it at a friends place if i get bored enough.

Wasn't aware you could get somebody to come and do it.

Let us know if he's any good and what the details are - I'll probably need them once I get the lowered springs+shocks in
