i havent applied window tint but i have watched my mate do it (he works for a tinting company) and its not hard ay. he used soapy water (i think it was soapy water, it was some sort of water) and wetted the glass down thourely 1st. then he applied the tint and the water solution let the tint not stick to glass fully, so you could move it around easily and get the bubbles out, but not have to worry about it falling off. then he used a soft spatula to take out all the bubbles and most of the solution. then he used a hair dryer to dry the film and evaporate the rest of the solution out

stanley knife. dont remember if he cut it on before or after it was on. i am pretty sure he cut it on before it was on. its a little tricky but not THAT hard. if ur uncertain go buy the smallest amount you can and c how it goes. remember the 1st go will allways take you 4 times longer than the second

I did the rear side windows on my old FA4. You realy need to be sure you have the glass absolutly spotless or it's bubble city.

yeah what cosmo said surface prep is very important so doing it in a dust free enviroment is a must as well. I put about 100 screen protectors on to phones and the smallest speck destroys it. I use a bulb blower for a lense to blow the surface just b4 application

I have a pair of petrol powered skate boards,a 33cc one with worn suspension springs and a 49 cc one which has a broken wheel.
Its one of the rear wheels with the drum brake inside the rim and has cracked the rim.
Does anyone have any idea where I could get spare parts for it from?
If not anyone want to help me make a 49cc go cart out of it?

2 stroke victa lawn mower motors are great for gokarts, especially when they hit powerband at 75km/h!

I have the frame to a homemeade go kart with some briggs and stratton mower motor here, frame is "mimicked" off a proper race kart.

its too small for me now as is, and i think the motor and a couple of wheels are going to the original mini bike frame we have but ill see if the rest can be...donated perhaps.

ill get an answer from the maker (father) and we'll talk if any interested parties some coffee meetup.\

depending on how that goes...

The working skateboard does about 35 kph as it is now but the suspension is too soft and you get the death wobbles at anything over 20 kph.
The other board revs out twice as hard and is a bigger engine.
When it was working it was WAY faster than the working one.
I was thinking of making a light weight allow frame and sort of lying on it and steering with your feet and using the front end and disc brakes off a pocket bike
The skateboards are a hell of a lot of fun to ride and are quite wicked off road.

I made a go cart when I was young out of a really old self driven reel mower with the gear cogs reversed.
You had to push start it to get it going but once it was moving it flew.

what do people think of getting twin straight pipes as a muffler/exhaust set up on a bj? Ill get a muffler put in the exhaust before it so its not crazy loud but i think it might look a bit better and sit in the bumper better...
