The Shoe thread.
whats your favorite shoes to drive in.
i find the rivers casual shoes really good, all leather with a nice thin sole. (lace up of course) - and if on sale $20 what are yours??

i would too, but its a bit awkward to take them on and off all the time, and cold in the morning/night - thus the thin soles

I love shoes. I must with up to at one time 40 pairs (now down in the mid 20's) it's a bit weird for such a man like me to have but. Then again I'm sure not many of you have them in box's new wait to be worn.
with feet my size average size of 16 - I have some size 17. For me, I have shoes that are Automatic transmission only. Some of my shoes won't work on manual because it won't allow my foot to fit onto foot rest. Other times like in a firends HDT group C - I can't get my left foot between the clutch pedal and transmission tunnel to fit onto the rest or I should say optional rest. best I have I guess is them nice Sparco FIa type boots I bought off Astro boy but they are very very very tight. but great feel. but my favourite right now and as always it's always the shoe that moulds and it about to fall apart are just my daily NIKE -brown shoes. next would be my Hush Puppies but not only for feel but looks -comfort. But I agree some of the rivers shoes are excellent but I can't wear long as I dystroy shoes. One thing they don't do is last on my feet. but then again not much does. |

Used to be my very flexible dress shoes i had to wear with my uniform at Thai but now im with CFS their a bit more lax on shoes so i have a simple set of rigid sole lynx joggers, that and i wore the sole to an angle on the go pedal foot in the old car, wish i had that compound on the tires not my feet.

Sneakers are my favourite to drive in, and the most comfortable. High heels on the other hand, are a complete pain in the butt, lol

Same, out of all the shoes I've driven in they're definitely the most comfortable.
Biggest mistake I ever made was trying to drive in nice dress shoes - the black leather kind you wear with a suit. I drove (read: bunnyhopped) about three blocks before deciding f*** it, I'm going back for my cons. |
