CHEAP FOOD TUESDAY!
Tomorrow is..........
Super Snitzel Tuesday. Your choice of Chicken or Veal Snitzel with Hollandaise, Gravy or Parmigiana style for only $5. There are also $5 daily specials. Parking is free after 5 or 6pm and hopefully being a Tuesday night will ensure easy parking. We are hoping to get there at about 6pm ish and I hope to see some friendly faces and happy people wanting to join in on a social atmosphere. Come along and have a go for something different. You're sure to have a laugh |

i got a monster laksa soup at some lil asian place in manuka... it was $8 or something, and it was superb... near the souvlaki place on the cinema side...
also, the hellenic club had plenty of cheap eats!! |

I gotta say they're a pretty decent feed for the $5... the Dessert and Coffe for $3.50 deal was alright too..
My Expenses for the night: 1x Schooner Coke 1x Schooner Cascade Light $3.30 1x Chicken Snitzel with Peper Sauce and Salad 1x Chicken Schnitzel with Diana Sauce and Salad $11.00 1x Capuchin and Warm Apple Pie $3.50 There you go - me and the Kitty fed for under $20 A.

hahaha i was thinking somthing along the lines of tightarse....
nah i wish we had cheap eats up here.... best i get is members dinner on friday nites at cronulla leagues... and its still $10 or so

You dont get out much do you Jim.
There are lots of $5 steak and mash places in the city and you can get a great $5 bacon, snags and eggs from scruffy's almost all day even though its for breakfast. Mal

The city is 30mins away so by the time you add your fuel costs to that, booze costs and parking.... it aint no cheap eats anymore is it

This week Kitty and I cracked the $20 mark... Lucky it was her turnt o pay...
2x Chikkin Schnitzels (one Pyjamas, one Mushroom) $11.00 2x Creme Caramel Desserts $6.00 1x Coffee $2.50 1x Cascade light Schooner 1x Schooner Coke $3.80 Total: $23.30 Totally blowing the budget there.....

1 X Schooner Coke $1.60 2 X Schooner Cascade Light $4.20 ($2.10 each) 1 X Chicken Kiev with Chips & Veg $6.00 1 X Chicken Kiev with Chips and Salad $6.00 2x Creme Caramel $6.00 ($3.00 each) 1x Hot Chocolate $2.50 Grand total: $26.30 And it was my turn to pay. damn poo bugger bum....
