Plastidipped my front bumper after filling badge recess, plastidipped the sideskirts, painted engine block, test fitted 17s', excuse the sketchy pics:

Should be an interesting conversation with the engine shop on Monday when they explain to me where my clutch, flywheel, crank pulley, head studs and bearing support plate are :s
All is well that ends well, I guess. Just dropped into the engine shop to collect the rest of my parts - they were all there. Apparently they had been left in the balancing area and some miscommunication meant that they were forgotten about the first time.

Oh well! Onwards and upwards with adding all of the accessories onto the block

Sounds like they were just too lazy to have a look the first time.

Not today but last week I got my new rims from Rupe on the car.
They're Mooneyes Lucky Star 15x7 +22 195/50
Car feels much more retro.

Ute's back from having the heater fixed.
New core so I have heat, new vent cable so I can direct the heat and a new piece of hose so the heated water no longer runs down the side of the block. That, the 929 radiator and elec fan has the beast running as smooth as a nut.
Lucky I took it where I did in Dandenong. I was going to take it to Seaford.

Oil and filter change. Only 900ml of oil came out of the engine. Not good.

So couple of days ago changed the coil packs, leads, plugs and did an oil change while I was at it (coils were starting to act up). Today went a grabbed a new fuel filter and some exhaust mounts to (hopefully) finally install the autoexe exhaust in the next few days. Only had it sitting around for about two years!

Just a rear muffler, calling it an exhaust was being a bit generous! Same as the sedan one rupe has for sale atm.

Is this a single unit or can you replace individual LEDs?

Checked up on head progress.

0.030" preliminary shave (need to find factory thickness specs to allow accurate 0.060" shave)

Three angle seat cut. 45' 60' and radius cut, need to get sub shims machined to set valve clearances and then port match, assemble blah blah
blah.

The interceptor box came for the diesel today. I'll fit it tonight and see how it goes tomorrow. I'll set it for mild power increase so it runs the engine rich to avoid lean out kaboom.
