I have a Mazda hatch 2001 sp20 that has done 291km I love the car but the valve stem seals are shot. Is it worth doing them for around $600 and then maybe the rest of the motor might not be good. Was wondering what it would be worth to change motors ??? Or do I trade it in and get nothing for it because of high km. I'm in sa any advise would be appreciated.......cheers

Up to you. How attached to the car are you?

How mechanically minded are you? A replacement engine could be had for $500.

thanks, Im really attached to it, I have my mechanic sourcing a replacement engine.......not sure how much yet !!
