Are you going full rebuild on this one too or just whacking those slugs in there with a hone and rings?

I'll put those in with rings and a hone and new bearings too. Will replace the valve stem seals aswell, head gasket, new water and oil pumps, etc

So it will basically be a new motor..

dont see the point in puting in sotck pistons. if you are gonna spend time and effort building a 8000rpm engine. you might as well put in 12:1 85.5mm pistons. and only do the job once.

I dont have the $$$ to go and buy 12:1 pistons. There like $700 where these are $200 for these pistons. So it's going to be better than stock cr and I'll be running the standard ecu and cams aswell for a good while..
