96 BPZE cam cover transferable to BPT?

Hi, would Like to check if it's possible or is there any mods to done?

I've got no technical expertise, but I would guess it won't fit. The blocks are the same, but I think the heads were different in the 94-98 BP engines, so it wouldn't work. But wait for someone who knows what they're talking about before you give up. Also, the 90-94 cam cover is awesome, it says MAZDA maaaan.

straight swap. bolts up all the same.

gear back plate and upper cover will need to be changed to 94-98 versions also.

heads are the same exturnally, 90-98 BP, 90-94 BPT.

Sigh, guess will have to hybrid na head wif turbo block. The bpt intake Manila shld line up correctly with holes from the na head I guess??

2 - the part you wanna swap!!!
6 - upper timing belt cover


3 - gear back plate


these are the only parts that require changing to alternate the 90-94 and 94-98 cam covers.

Damn Ryan you are the man for Mazda knowledge. I still like my old style cam cover, but that's cool that it can be swapped.

Dude u can just swap the rocket covers and timing chang covers over don't swap the heads...

I've never seen flow test results for BP05 vs. BP26 heads, BP-4W though does flow better however you would need to modify your inlet manifold to bolt to it.
