from pivot down its the same, but since its shorter on top i move my hand through a smaller arc (but same overall angle from point A to B) therefore it is shorter yes. more so its shorter aesthetically which is what i was after mainly. the reduction in shifting time is just a bonus

this is the exact one i got
i was actually gonna get a D1 but this one appealed to me more cus of the two extra aluminium bits that make it fully height adjustable and also act as a gear bung

it feels slightly heavier

I'm amazed you put up with Eonon for so long, had mine for about 8 months and it rattles like crazy

I think it's the hinges for when the screen folds down that rattle . I've tried to fix it with no luck. Hopefully a carputer will fix it though

haha eanon is awesome for the price
fortunately myn doesnt rattle but like i said there is a loose wire that powers the screen somewhere in the ribbon as its fine and il go over a bump and it dies (the screen that is) and then il go over another bump and it will come back on. usually when its on it rearly goes of. and when its off it comes back on straight away

ok another update. yesterday i came to a sad epiphany that i can never mold perspex by hand to as good of a finish as a machine can nor can i shape it as good as it can be injected SO i got some clear lights and will be pulling them apart and shaping the housing to suit my needs. i was originally going to do it with my clear lights, but the idea of being without a car for x amount of days while im finishing it, and in the mean time rushing the project, scared me somewhat, mainly due to my previous experiences with rushing projects.
so i expect to commence work on them on tuesday next week, and hopefully finish by thursday in time for the little drift meet

are you gonna use the actual light parts of those clears? if not i wonder how hard it'd be to adapt them for the hardtop. already have the clear cover..

Hey Tony, have you thought about making moulds of the lense's you have now and making new lenses from that? would be somewhat easier to make then trying to cut out the perspex and hope for the best
