A.E's new pride and joy

So I thought I was about time I posted up my new ride. Forgive me Rupe for I have sinned, it isn't a Mazda lol

Its a 2001 Nissan 200sx spec S (don't let the badging fool you) always wanted one of these, I was probably 14-15 when one caught my eye.

Now don't let the pics fool you the rims actually look alright in the flesh, no side skirts aren't doing it justice.
Apart from that loving the car, wired up my head unit and amp the other night sounds awesome. And the sideways motion is a god dam good feeling

Mod list
Engine
Front mount intercooler (forgot the name)
HKS bov
3" turbo back hiteck exhaust

Transmission
Brass button (looking to change that soon)

Suspension
Cusco front strut bar

Wheels
Some 19" no names, staggered fit.

Interior
Leather seats front and BACK (apparently that's rear)
Apexi turbo timer (wiring needs looking at)
Blue footwell lights
LED dome light
Kenwood headunit (out of the SP20 which was from the Capri which was from the vitara lol)
Pioneer splits in the front
Pioneer speakers in the rear
Pioneer 4ch amp (out of the SP)
Alpine tyre R 12" sub
And to protect it all, a mind field of immobiliser units lol.

Plans.
Spec R 2 piece side skirts (on hold)
Rear bar aero pods
Maybe a spec GT wing
Electronic boost controller
Boost gauge
Tints
New flywheel and clutch
Major service

I think it's just the photo but it looks like the rear right quater has been sprayed.

Nice one.

I always wanted a J-spec for two reason that stop me buying one. 1 - Rear wiper and 2 the slim line weather sheilds.
Why Aus cars always have the rear wiper deleted is absoloute BS - Cost cutting crap.

I have to say with those funny list of modes - some standard but the blue lights etc. did he not give you the tissue box and shopping list stickers as well LOL.

my only advice leave the number plates as is - looks very plain. a new 370 would still stick out more.

I kinda like the "non-skirt/wing" look for a change from the Jap bling. Always OK to be different..... Anyways, whatever your fancy

Well done with a nice beasty!

So found the wheels I want, there pretty much TE37 replicas, real TE37s cost a small fortune. Now gotta play the waiting game, tax office still holding off on my return -.-

Also ordered a boost gauge off eBay, vacuum hose is all ready to go and vent has been disassembled. Can't wait to get it in.

Have a look at the price of TE37SLs - they're a fair bit cheaper than regular TE37s.

SLs aren't that much....well, it depends on who you know

As for coilovers, depends on what you call a decent price.
