when it comes to photography, your never really going to get really nice deep images unless you spend up a bit. the s5 is the best value for money though. but if your after really nice crisp and deep photos a DSLR is the only way

We got the Canon 860IS and its been pretty good. We have had an Olympus 750UZ for years now and despite being bigger, it's still better...it cost so much back than compared to now...oh well.....

I'm leaning towards the Panasonic FZ18 now. The Leica lens and additional telephoto and wide capabilities have caught my eye. Especially for travelling.
I can get it duty free and am trying to work out how I can claim it on tax. Surely my clients need photos right ? Those with the Canon- have you tried the canon firmware hack ? http://chdk.wikia.com/wiki/CHDK_in_Brief It adds some nice features and opens up some of the capabilities of their cameras , and its not permanent so no issues with going back to 'standard mode'! |

no problem.
I'm trying to convince myself that if I use a camera while on paid leave , it counts as a work expense and can be claimed on tax. sounds good huh ?! |
