Smile Project Tidy is taking off

After some serious searching for stuff to build me the ultimate car, im pleased to say that Project Tidy is now taking off. I thought I might keep you all posted on my cars progression as gav has been doing the same thing with sp18. I know some of you thought it was all talk but its coming togehter now.

Yesterday I upgraded my subwoofer and amp set up considerably and now it sounds awsome, in the next couple of weeks I want to start working on custom boot install as im not happy with hot it all currently looks.

The car is booked in Tuesday for a set of New Wheels and tyres to be fitted after a long and painful search I found my self some awsome wheels that im very happy with.

A week today im having a 2/1/4 Mandrel Bent Cat Back Exhaust fitted to my car and while im in Sydney im also picking up a set of very very different tailights.

Sometime Next Month Jetspeed are fitting a Carmate "wings west look a like bodykit" and a set of eyelids and a grill very simular to Ardens is being fitted.

Performance wise after I have the body kit fitted,im looking at getting a set of headers (and have them ceramic coated) and getting an SRI very simular to ardens fitted to the car to make it breath a little better.

In the comming weeks and months ill be posting pictures and maybe some small video clips of "Tidys Progression" from tame to sporty.

This is Tidy Now:

Next time most you see and hear Tidy you wont be able to recognise it

Wow mate, sounds like a very nice car will come of all this, the Wings West look-alike kit looks tops from memory. Want to fill us all in on the "very very different" lights aswell, or is it all hush hush?

Oh, add another $30 to your expenses and get some clear side lenses too

Looking forward to the pictures of the buildup mate, make sure you take lots - they're always interesting to look at and comment on.

Nice work

sounds great, looking forward to watching the progression.

if you get a chance, take notes and photos and they can be used to build some DIY guides for other people

Hey man, I can't wait to see it all finally come together. Are you getting foggies for the WW kit?
Damn, I need to glue those bloody sideskirts back on the SP18mkII aswell. It's been looking a bit strange without them for last month. I had a guy at the servo say to me today "I didn't know Mazda made an SP in the 1.8?". Hehe, then I tell him there's only ever been two of them and left it at that... If my mate ever gets his vinyl cutter it'll be intersting to see how people respond when I have the SP18 decals on it! Actually I might just get them made up by the people who will be doing my inteiror, that should save me some hassles and delays.

Keep up the good work dude, oh is that pepper I smell? Achoooo!
Gav.
