I bought a new Karcher water blaster last weekend and I am going to be cleaning my car tomorrow.
You are more than welcome to bring your car over and do yours at the same time.
My GF has a completely full water tank for me to use...

I have just had pedders sports ryder springs fitted front and rear so I can go measure the height of my car and you can compare with that if you like.
I also have the boxes for them so you can compare the model numbers as well.
I can just get one finger between the guard and the tire at the rear and two finger at the front.
Parking beside a SP20 today I was almost half a wing mirror lower than them.

Also gave the car an oil & filter change, and threw in a bottle of octane booster
u might find the kings to be much stiffer and give a less pleasent ride. the longer spring of the apexi is probably so (if its the right one for ur car) to give u a more comfertable ride

Beetle: Changed the oil, topped up the gearbox, regapped the spark plugs, adjusted the brake shoes. It's like a new car.

Needs a new left inner tierod end though, as there's a fair bit of play there.

I gave mine a wash.

What's the best way to remove grease handprints from the paintwork left from when I was working on it a couple of days ago? It's white and they stick out like dogs balls.

I have around 30mm between the tyre & guard in the rear, whereas it use to be around 5mm beforehand.. It feels a lot more stable too

The Apexi springs are linear, where the pedders are what I believe to be progressive (well from driving)... and no way did it feel comfortable, I could only hit a slow down bump (ya know, those bloody 3m long speed bumps ) at 35kms before bottoming out, but can now do the same speed bump at 60kms and no bottoming out!

Punched out the two miss threaded wheel studs on the replacement V6 hubs, hope to get new studs tomorrow and put it all back together.

Bled the RR caliper... only one to go.

Put the two worst MS01Ss' in to be refinished on Thursday. I pick them up on Tuesday.

Searched for wheel studs.
Repco, Autobarn and Bursons all pulled out the 'Nice Products' catelogue which doesn't know krap about Mazdas, it had BG listed as 94-98 and BA as 89-93 and BJ as 94-02.

Looks like it's off to Mazda tomorrow just to get the right part.

Aren't you supposed to do the rear ones first and futherest from the booster? Then the fronts? ie- RL > RR > FL > Gearbox > FR?

Yeah but they all have different circuits so I don't see where that's relevent on the Astina.

fed the Tarago with some High Mileage Oil because I was feeling awkward driving with the oil light staring at me.
This stuff is so thick it doesnt slop down the funnel, it sits there and very very slowly ebs down.

Tried to find the wiring fault for my LHS front speakers. NFI. Only clue is the sudden loud alternator whine through the remaining speakers. Can't even have the stereo on cause of the loud whine.
