That's their excuse for not bringing the price back down when the barrel price drops. The state and federal governments won't do anything as their share goes up with the price.

Yeah id believe that dude,here where i live now,optimax is the only supposed 98 octane ron fuel around and ive had to knock the timing back to fully standard just so it wouldnt ping on this fuel :evil:
If it was really 98 RON i should be able to run at least 13/14 degs no probs,but that aint happenin,im starting to think that the optimax here is really only normal unleaded.so im paying out my arse for fuel thats not even doing whats its sposed to :cry:

fyi - it takes approximately 6 weeks for the current price of a barrel of oil to flow through to the consumer. so why are the prices rising now - exactly like what you said mrshadow

i friggin paid 116.9 for some BP ULTIMATE last weekend
nearly cried when i saw the price on the fuel pump
its the most ive paid since buyin me car in 02!!!

shiiiit i just payed 116.7 for ultimate.... farken not happy

and what a bugger the tank was nearly empty too ie 52Litre fill up $60 all up, as compared to my normal $48 fill up..... i'm gonna start using my spare number plates i think!!! :twisted:
