Type R Mini Side Skirts

Well it seem another life time ago that I bought my set of side skirts from NZ. Unfortunately I still haven't put them on the car due to lack of all the mounting bits including the plugs that go into the bottom of the door sill that the screws go into (I think). Was wondering if any one has a spare mounting kit or might no where I can source one. Cheers

I'd just use a screw into the sill. it's basically what you have to do with the skirts in 2 places anyway, so another couple of screws won't matter.

It'll leave smaller holes anyway.

Sorry to revive an old thread but

are the Ba's supose to have I think 3 or 4 plastic factory plugs where these skirts go ?

because my HT has some the ones made for screwing into

yet this Ba hatch 1.8L has nothing at work none at all

Nah, you're supposed to drill holes thru the side sill to attach them at the outside, while there's some screws underneath (and maybe one in the wheelarch) from memory.

There are 3 plastic plugs under the sill to accept the clips for the skirts, ONLY the ZXi V6 ans some special edition models have the two holes in the side of the sills to accept the other two clips, there is also a hole in the back to bolt them to the arch

When I fitted mine, I used the three bottom holes, but didn't have the side two, so, I removed the clips from the skirts, and used Evo-Stick Wet Grab to bond them to the sills, works perfectly, had mine on 3 years, no probs
