Cool 1996 V6 Astina

Have just bought a 1996 Astina V6 hardtop. Have found that the Temp runs at the high end on the gauge constantly past half way, is this normal. If anyone has any suggestions, would appreciate it.

Thats exactly what was wrong with my 96 V6 Astina, same hardtop, auto. I found it was my heater hose.

Make sure you have the correct thermostat. Most places list a standard thermostat but the V6 one is different. If you use the wrong one you can just be circulating hot coolant around the engine bypassing the radiator.
