FS-ZE swap?

Just blew the DE in my sp20 at The Bend.

How hard is it to get a ZE to swap in these days?

Not easy - they're not many being wrecked in Japan these days

But I can get you one from Japan (and literally only one). And it's one of the 175hp Mazdaspeed engines, too.

Shoot me a PM if interested.

Cheers for the info Rupe.

Are there any differences between the fsde in the sp20 and the 2.0l in the 626 and other mazdas of the same age? Is there anything else around I should look out for?

626s have different intakes, from memory.

FZ-ZEs have the black box on the intake, too.

Well I just fitted an injen cai so provided the throttle body is in the same spot it should be fine then?

I put a big window in the block if anyones interested, so all my ancilliaries are fine, if a bit oily. So as long as the engine itself is the same layout everything else should bolt up...
