Nice car! Always wanted an SP20, but I ended up with a standard Protege
(Daniel, I might have to buy yours!)

The silver definitely comes up amazing after a good detail, put a coat of carnauba wax on it and it'll shine like crazy!

Wax is the next step... had already spent about 5-6 hours on the cars so decided to do it another day

Would you recommend this Mothers Clay Bar System?

http://www.supercheapauto.com.au/onl...74#Description

How many clay bar did you use for the whole car?

I do recommend that one.

You keep using the clay bar over and over. I've done 3 cars now.

It's the spray that you'll need to replenish! The bottle that came with the kit lasted for the 3 cars. It is sold separately though so it's easy enough to buy again

Damn that clay's expensive! I think I paid like $12 for a block that's about half a kilo Makes an amazing difference, especially if there's overspray on a car. Just use shampoo mixed with water as the lube, works a wonder

Put some pure carnauba wax on there and it'll stay looking that great for ages.

xeon8, you should take my car for a test drive, I'm sure that'll convince you to upgrade.

I am not looking for upgrade anytime soon but it would be an honor to test drive your car once :P

I dunno - $35 to make your car look and feel almost brand new is a pretty good deal to me

After having a meter long crack in the windscreen for the last 6 months, we've finally got a new one! Haha!

Rego is due this week so thought it was about time I did something about the crack. O'Brien's wanted $400 so rang a few independent companies and On The Spot Glass fitted one for $200. WINRAR!

As they were leaving, I noticed one of my side indicators wasn't flashing as I locked the car. One of the wires wasn't connected properly which is fine, but as I was trying to take the marker out, I broke it! DAMN IT! Ah well, good ol' ebay comes to the rescue!

Looks like it'll be cruising around with one clear and one orange marker until the new ones arrive though!

About 2 weeks ago I remembered that the car had no tyre valve caps. After a little ebay shopping, that was fixed

Cute!
