FS. [NSW] VF28 turbo charger + manifold to suit BPT
I have a VF28 turbo and manifold to suit 1.8 dohc bpt. This setup was previously on a BG sedan before i bought it. Its done around 7000km's since a rebuild by gcg in sydney, and hasnt been used since i got it. The reason why I am selling it is because Ive decided to go a larger turbo. The vf28 turbo is the standard turbo off the '99 sti wrx's and these run 15psi boost daily standard and the max efficiency is up to 18psi. This would be a great straight bolt on upgrade for any standard bpt.
Turbo- $600 ono Manifold- $550 ono Turbo + Manifold $1100 ono. Im located in sydney but will post Australia wide at buyers expense. Comes with Oil and water lines. Please feel free to leave pm's or call me. Freddy 0410231029 UPDATE! Dump pipe also for sale. $350 ono.Dump pipe is AC friendly. This entire setup definitely will fit onto KF/KH Lasers Mazda BG sedans. Turbo + manifold will suit any bpt setup, dump pipe im not sure about other vehicles if any techies out there mite b able to shed some lite thatd b awesome. The whole kit for $1400 ono. This is a steal! http://img150.imageshack.us/my.php?i...mgp4528yu1.jpg Last edited by Warbzy; 11-06-2007 at 10:50 AM. Reason: Updated |

Question for the Turbo Techies.... could this be bolted onto a NA BP without too much fuss? Ofcourse new exhaust mod needed, but will the std cpu need to be replaced as well?

I can tell ya now mate, this can bolt onto ur NA bp no probs.... but the compression ratio of a NA engine couldnt handle hi amount of presure intake from a turbo therefore most likely blowing ur engine up. And yes u would need to upgrade from a na ecu to run this set up efficiently.

Then high compression + a non-forged engine will probably guarentee it wont last that long. Upgraded radiator, installation of an oil cooler, and so on and so forth. Easier and probably cheaper to get a GTX front cut |
