I will wait and see if it happens. I remember all the advertising about
Mazda and HKS putting out turbo options for the Astina and also the previous
MPS from the tokyo shows etc believe it when I see it.

Expect to pay over $60K for it when it lands here.. Go http://www.media.mazda.com/photolibr.../index6_e.html to get your latest fix of the best HI-RES images of the revised concept.. Differences are..

- Sedan now instead of hatch
- Grill
- Bonnet
- Front Bar
- Rear Bar
- Red dials [sadly blue is gone]

... just to name a few..

well the evo's and the sti's are detuned to 195kw's so i expected mazda would have to do the same

but thats no issue just have it retuned to the max power an run a fuel booster /additive to raise the octainelevel an ur weapon is flying

mmm yeah but i mean the oz release sti is 5.5 secs, jap spec is 4.8 secs. why is mps 0-100 time so average (so to speak) with kw output like that?
wonder what the torque curve is like though in comparison, the sti is rather...unorthodox :? to put it kindly!

i'd rather an rx8 like a friend has...his dad won 4 mil in lotto!! there quicker too by the looks of things..

The evo and the sti are Mazda 3 sized cars. The Mazda 6 would be better compared to a Liberty if you want a true comparison.
There is more to life than 1/4 mile times, when you least expect it life will throw in some corners or a few passengers.

How about length, width, wheelbase, front and rear track etc....?

You've picked out one statistic without looking at the whole picture.
