Mazda Sassou concept..

I was surfing google video, and found this [fifth gear?] video of the new Mazda Sassou concept vehicle.. Powered by a 1 litre turbo engine.

http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...86813730841616

You can also see hi-res images of it..

oww not bad, i looked at the pics first and wasn't too impressed, what's with the clear plastic/glass panals at the front and rear, but then i watched the video and wow, looks like a great lil car, love the glass roof and how the door handles only come out when u're near it... don't know abt the usb key though...

I would be worried about the fragility of the USB key. Actually it has a scant retro interior feel to it IMO.

It reminds me a bit of an Studebaker Avanti (look it up )

I like it, apart from the "It's sports day and i'm sucking on an orange slice" grille.

Looks pretty trippy. As with any concept car though, should it ever see the light of day with production, it will look significantly different!

This and the fact that i wonder how easy it would be to copy the USB stick and then have your car ripped off!

It would be easy to rip a USB key from an original, 'bout as easy as having a toothed key copied at a locksmith. Trick is to have the original.......
The Mazda USB probably also has the remote central locking that activates the door handles (when you get close). It is better than the Mercedes Benz 'proximity card' system that has been 'round for some years as it offers more features such as downloading MP3s or ECU patches.

The USB key would most likely have a smart key feature that other USB sticks don't posess, like the chip in Holden's traditional keys, so copying them means nothing without the special chip. My point to fragility is more the continual use of such a device, wear and tear etc...
