back on the actual subject:
pulled the heater core out....only 30 mins this time
the one i pulled out had a crushed core, the plastic box was fine but the core was crushed so looks like it was crushed from factory before it got fitted. hopefully i have more luck with the new one.

Nay. Pods don't need be enclosed in qld, but I'm tempted to feed a hose in the bottom of my box and put my pod in it just to secure it better / legally

At the moment my pod just sits abreast the air box bracket rail. You can move it around etc. If I bolt the airbox down it will be secure and I can fit the pod inside the airbox and run the cai through the bottom making it legal in qld persuant to rules requiring pods to be secured.

oh ok. yer iv been looking through the legislation from QLD transport and it dosnent have anything about a CAI, so ill assume it dosent need a mod notice.

P.s reading the legislation is bloody stuped, i reccon half the coppers dont know the details of these rules.

Seeing as though I have just recently sold the lancer with a pod filter, I was myself worried that it would deem it unroadworthy.

I found that yes you can have a pod, but it MUST be properly secured

Yeah. Doesnt need to be enclosed with exit and entry, that NSW rules. Only needs be secured.

OT: Was getting a re-spray on the BA gloss black with new numberplates but I managed to guess half the present so now its ruined and I dont get it anymore. Devo.

Christ! Everyones so paranoid about Coppers these days. Makes me wish I was wayyyyyyy back when if you drank too much, you got a warning!!!!!!!

Lay off the ins & outs baybe! I'm getting paranoid too.......hehe

Advice: stay away from the ingested traffic & don't give in to these blue fags! Keep your wheels looking standard but, put a fire cracker beneath the hood!

Enjoy!!!!! (back me up Gav, I can feel the negative vibe happenin' lolol)

Nah, I'm $#!T scared myself.

Seriously, my take on mods and cops is, if you mod within the law, there is nothing they can do about it.
If you get hassled over pod filters in NSW, and you have a QLD registered car, point that out.

Gav.

Just paint it all black like me and Zappy have done, and you won't get much attention.

You need to get the end of the 2 shafts "cuffed" like Pete has in his green KE TX3.
