Coilpacks for FS

Hey Guys,
Well Im sure this is something that you have all heard about before...
The old occasional misfire on idle.....
yep... mine has started to do that too, so changed to a second hand set (bought off Marc). And that set of coil packs seems do be detonating at around 3500-4000 on anything over half throttle...
Its not ultra heavy detonation, however, if you listen closely, you can hear it...

Anyway... to the point of this thread, thought it may help other sp20 owners in the future..

So... Where is the best place to buy New coil packs?
Do you have to go Genuine Mazda?
or are there other brands available on the market? if so... please list.

Also, prices might help too

Cheers guys,
AzzA

unfortunally the coil packs dont last long,

you can buy them cheap from usa ebay or local automotive shops.

I can order them in and sell through my work aswell.

I dont know the difference between genuine and aftermarket quality.

Ive got a brand new set at home as backup.

Once ive used up all the coil packs, I will be doing the 1.8l coil pack and lead conversion. They last heaps longer and can tolerate more dwell timing

Well unfortunately the coil packs were the first of my problem...

http://www.astinagt.com/forums/showthread.php?t=18438

I got one from repco at $190....cause I only had the money to replace one, other one was working...then when the other one went I got it at Car bits for $90, works exactly the same, same brand etc
