Hey Azza, I might take the sp20 light...?,.,..? I've got the standard BJII lights at the moment but was thinking of getting sp20 ones as I've got the full sp20 kit.

Do you know if its easy to install them yourself or is it tricky?

the actual fitting is straight forward, just remove the front bumper then change lights however the wiring needs adapting to suit. I have a pair for mine but I will be doing a quad projector retrofit which just means using ballast and high beam solenoid splitters but I have seen a diagram for the wiring conversion on mazdas247 somewhere for standard sp20 lights, would be listed as p5 lights into sedan from memory.

^^
As above. Thanks Shane

Yep thread title is called "sedan headlights into P5" that's the most recent one on Mazdas247... There is a diagram in that thread for sedan to P5 lights and P5 to sedan lights.

Nothing difficult... Just a little bit of basic wiring.

Will link it up for you tomorrow.

I should also add... The lenses are different between the SP20 and the non-sp20...

Same shape... But the sp20 lense does not have the little diffuser/ ripple section on the outside edges where the Parker lights are for the nonsp20

EDIT: so it's up to you wether you still wanna use them or not

Shape is the identical... Fitment is identical... Just doesn't have that rippled section on the outside corners for the parker

as far as i know yes... but the mounting tabs for the plastic insert might be in a different location.

(where the insert mount screws onto the lense).

I guess for $20 you could always give it a try? lol
