Cheap Light colour change
Hello all!
Are you a cheapo that loves to DIY everything? And are you looking to change the colour of your dash lights (or example) to Red? Well here is what you should do. Go down to a local hobby shop or EBay... Go and get yourself some of this! This is transparent red used for stop lights etc on model cars. There are many other colours available... But the hobby shop will probably only stock red and orange... Other colours will have to be ordered. Obviously this isn't that cheap.... However you can do hundreds of globes using this one small bottle of paint. So will cost next to nothing per globe. It's also designed to be directly applied to plastic So remove the little rubber condom from the light globe and grab your tiny paint brush and apply paint. 1 thick coat or 2 thin coats will give a good colour.... But later it up to your desired colour. So that's the result you end up with... Light output is greater than that of the original light with the rubber. This allows you to change the colour of globes at a tiny cost... Also allows you to have some fun being a child again.... Why not spare some paint to do your nails while you are at it I will post up some piccies of the finished results tonight. So far looks amazing!!! Enjoy all you cheapo DIYers! Lol

oh and i forgot to mention....
Even cheaper temporary option... Permanent marker! No seriously! Lol permo's work great for about 3 months... Then the colour will slowly fade back to the origional colour So if you always change your mind about light colours or want to "test" a colour out... Permanent texter is for you lol EDIT: both methods are totally reversible. Simply wipe with thinners... Then put the origional rubber cover back on the globe WIN!!

It'll craze and burn off after about 1 month, just FYI. Even the good Tamiya stuff.
