You know Simone that if your roof supports are rusting you will be able to tell if the turret (The main big shiney outside roof part) is bubbling in straight lines. It happened to my first car and i paid thous to fix it on a few k car. Wasn't my brightest move haha.
ANYWAYS, Trent! You car looks sooo much better low! Go to the mega meet for sure. You'll be pleased you met these weirdo's that are taking over your thread! |

Hey guys and Girls
I am in need of a rookie problem haha My engine bay seems to be scorching hot even if the engine has only been running for 5 minutes. (changed coolant and checked oil) I am not sure where to go from there. Can anybody help me? (The temp gauge is fine)

is your temp guage rising at all ??
check to make sure your fan is turning on an off when the car is at idle to eliminate is it's working ( the one infront of you gearbox) is so then i'd be looking towards the thermostat, an easy fix and only like $25 from your local spare parts shop

I have a scan gauge that I can pop on your car... That way you will be able to monitor the water temps.

All i can feel now is a slight ticking feeling through the floor when driving. Its either this or there is something else i have not discovered yet.

Drive car up on ramps... Use a jack to support the engine ... Undo rear bolt on crossmember... Wedge rubber Inbetween the gearbox and crossmember... Then bolt rear of cross member back in. If its the same.. Then it's not the crossmember. 'Ticking' is a little worrying... Might be a good thing to chec your wheel bearings and CV's etc. When the gearbox is resting in te crossmember... It sounds like a grumble when you drive (mainly when taking off)
