BJK's '02 Protege sedan

2002 Protege 1.8L FP-DE.

AEM Short Ram Intake
2.25 Cat-Back Exhaust
17x7 ROH Mantis wheels on 215/45
I've also got an SP20 front bar and skirts from Rupe that will get painted and fitted when I can justify spending the money to do it. Probably after I find a rear skirt for the sedan I don't have to fiddle with too.

How she is now December 2012:

will be following this, yours is as mine started, i have an altered hatch rear lip on mine which retains access for the tow eye. did you get the fender liners and the reinforcing for the front bar? also the grilles are different.

Was talking to Rupe about the hatch lip, but the guy at the body shop wasn't so keen on lengthening. Certainly preferred shortening. So I might hang out until I find a rare sedan lip, or get something simple custom, or just leave it, haha.

I haven't got the liners yet, grille is on the bar fortunately. I'll likely get the liners when I'm closer to getting it all fitted, which will be a while. Did you get yours from a dealer? Apparently they don't pop up much second hand.

i originally got them aftermarket then replaced them with genuine as there is a massive difference in quality, my bar and reinforcing were new as were the grilles as the originals all needed replacing after the accident anyway. all in my build thread.(link at the bottom of my post)

Let's face it, who's gonna notice that their splash guards are gone??
Did a ms paint mockup, think they're a little larger than they'll actually be, but it gives a good impression.

and Shaley, would you know if the reinforcement would come on a second hand bar? I might have to ask Rupe about it. Nonetheless, as said will probably be a while before I get around to putting it on. Time to start saving, haha.

Haha. Eventually, eventually! I've been eyeing off the Tokico Illuminas for a while, but exhaust/wheels/tyres will be eating up my budget, and then I'll be moving out early next year.

Don't worry, I've been on FTOAus, and I think you'd find some spamming rivals there.

LOOOL.

Haven't decided, or really seen yet! (re: muffler). Likely to be whatever they have at the shop for the moment. Think I'll go the traditional style (non cannon), with a 2.5-3 inch tip depending on what they have. Been looking up sound clips of exhausts all day!
