if you are bidding on something like that. might be a good idea to let peps know so others do not bump the final price up on you. that way we get stuff cheaper for each other.

at a price like that there was noway anyone was going to let anyone else win it by default. we all knew that everyone else was watching/bidding anyway.

You will have front endlink issues running BJII[J48] struts. You just need to buy the longer or shorter endlinks [whichever is the problem].

They were off a sedan, which have taller rear springs, stock. So on a hatch, it should sit level compared to the front if King took this into consideration like Eibach did [which is still nose down...].

Found out that ABS were not kidding when they said my clutch was worn, had it slip numerous times when my foot was well off the pedal as well as considerable shudder, going to get a quite for Exedy HD install and machining of FW.

hey gav, is there much difference in installing them to installing coilovers, Iv installed coilovers and it was pretty easy didnt take that long.
im assuming its going to be similar because its the strut and all.

Valerius i was actulling taking to a machnic the other day about getting a new clutch and i sugested a heavy duty clutch and he said if i put a heavy duty one on id probly damage my gearbox.

Duncan: No difference to installing them over coilovers, just heavier.

Duncan/Jason: The BJ 1.8 comes with an Exedy HD from the factory.
Tell them to balance the flywheel or your clutch will last 10,000km like mine did... Maybe 20,000km for you.

almost... it's exedy, but it is not HD.
any BA and BJ fitted with a F series gearbox had a exedy clutch from factory.

My stock BJII clutch was. It was purple anodised, same part # and everything.

Exedy HD clutches aren't that hard anyhow. I had one put in the Pulsar on Friday, and even with a cable clutch, it's not hard on the left leg at all...

i don't knock the fact it was exedy in it. i just don't think it would be a HD.

the clutch i pulled out of my ba when it was 5yo (2002) had a exedy but i don't believe it was HD. pedal and bite never felt like it.

bj could be different. but i'd be sure mazda would use left over ba clutches when the model was changed over.

but then again, it is mazda... anything is possible.

Just another reason why the BJ is better than a BA.

You mean 1 of the only 2 reasons BJs are better than BAs?

The other being Sunburst Yellow. That colour is just geneious ob all levels. Pitty it was wasted on a granny wagon.

put some new Orion 5x7" 100w speakers into the front of the laser this evening, good thing as the originals were stuffed...

They sounds 100x better, so will install the 6" Pioneer 2ways in the rear tomorrow afternoon

paper cone wore thin & broke on the drivers side (thats the passenger) & were distorting like crazy.

Were at JB HI FI for $79, pretty well priced for what they are
