Widebody 323f BG (Astina)

Hello everybody, my name is Wouter (aka Grimmie). I知 a member of the Mazda 323F Club Holland.

At the moment I知 trying to develop a wide body kit for the Mazda 323F BG (also known as Astina).

For sketches look here:
http://www.lowmotion.nl/bodykit/index.html

Currently there are 2 body kit producers who have shown interest.

Carzone Specials (www.carzonespecials.com):
I知 still awaiting prices and amounts.

Poliset Racing Design (www.poliset.nl):
Current estimation of costs is 1500 euro and a minimum production of 15 kits.

Both companies are familiar with the production of body kits.

Almost everyone knows Carzone Specials for their spectacular body kits, regularly seen on Belgian meetings.

Poliset is a company which develops light weigh racing kits, and is also supplier to car makes as Hyundai, Toyota, Fiat, Honda, Subaru, Mitsubishi and Opel.

Because it is virtually impossible to get 15 people to buy the kit in The Netherlands only I知 also offering this kit in other countries like yours.
Be aware that shipping costs might be quite high! As these kits will be developed in The Netherlands and then be shipped to your location.

Because this question is probably coming I知 answering it already: The kit is (for now) only sold as one, no separate parts. (When this should change I値l let you know)

If you are interested please let me know!!
The more people we have the cheaper it will get.

Grim

PS. I will be checking the foreign forums regularly, but if you want a fast reaction and an up to date status of the process visit my own forum at http://www.lowmotion.nl

hmm, id be intrested, maybe, but not for some time, I'd need to save up, and I have other options. One of the members of this forum is going to make kits too, but I think hes going to do all his by hand. I dunno.

Important update!!

Verseveld Tuning & Styling contacted me because they would like to pruduce te kit.

The full kit (ex hood howerver) should cost 1000 euro if we buy it from them, that is 500 euro less then from Poliset.

After a downpayment of 50% it will take UP TO A MAXIMUM of 3 months before the kit is ready.

They also have the 15 kit guideline, but 1 or 2 less would not be a problem

I hope these new devellopments might have changed your mind... nice price right??

I like the look of the front bar and rear bars, but I'm not convinced on the fenders. How much is 1000 euro in AUD?

Fenders didn't really work out to well on the drawings, I hope/assume they will be ok in reallity.

That's not a bad price, but I would assume it'd almost cost that much again to get it here...

Mod's can close this topic, I'm cancelling the whole plan. There is (and probably never will) be enough interest to get 15 kits.

Thanks for the shown interest MeFo and Ian, I hope your cars will some day get a nice bodykit anyway!

Later,
Grim
