Ok quick update to the parts on the previous page, headed up to Jareds on the weekend and had him install it all, some noticeable differences would be the shifter bushes, theres absolutely no movement which is awesome!

As for the front endlinks, the Ford Escape links I was sent are around 3mm thicker than the SP20 ones, and 10mm shorter Anyways, no more creaking which is good

Most noticeable difference is the rear sway bar, good to have some stability in the rear end

Bring on dyno day!

It hasnt affected handling, but then again with the new rear sway bar I cant see any difference in the front apart from no creaks

I know Focus on the mazdas247 forum has done the swap, from what I recall there were some wiring that needed to be changed in regards to the fuel pump, but dont quote me on that..

Now that dyno day is done & dusted for another year, I am very happy with this years result - 89.9kw/124.6HP at the wheels! Coinsidering im still using the stock FS-DE ECU & loom, there was only .5kw difference between mine & phils Astina, with his car using the FS-ZE ECU & loom and different intake design & exhaust..

Video on the dyno run:

Comparison dyno over the past 4 years

So where do we go from here? Im over the moon at how the car has changed in the past couple months, it really is a blast to drive Jared on the other hand has this little idea to plug in an eManage and have a fiddle to see if we can get a couple more KW's out of it, but we'll see

marc, it just means your intake and exhaust systems are much better designs than what phil has! I kept telling phil to get an autoexe intake, but he won't listen....

Its not that I don't listen. They are rather expensive for that they are and have been spending money on gearboxes instead. Now that everything else is sorted I can worry about exhausts and intakes.
I will arrange with Ricardo from CMR for me to borrow an intake or 2 and re dyno my car to see the effect each one has.

The Man----- Intake
Maztech ----- Exhaust

Who will win this battle -- he is wasting everyone's time doing intake first
