I picked up my simota intake and yes while it will fit (i have to get one more silicon joiner and clamps to hook it to the AFM), it has a second breather pipe coming off it, is this for a BG?
I noticed that the standard intake tube (between the throttle body and the Air flow meter) for the BA seems to have a sealed plug in about the same spot. I plan on capping it off, any ideas why its there?

I'd take pics, but the SLR is at work and the portable is being borrowed by a friend. I'll get a pic up once i get to work tomorrow.

there should be 2 pipes coming of your intake pipe. one goes to the cam cover and i forget where the other one goes. they are fairly close to each other 2 (the plugs that is) il check now

series 1 and 2 have a extra pipe that feeds air to the IAC under the throttle body.

series 3 does not have this pipe as the IAC is built into the throttle body.

Normally components are splits.(seperate components, - woofer, tweeter and crossover)
I have however seen door speakers that were 2 way but had a seperate crossover so they would be components as well.

It will work but it may not have the reception that your current antenna does.

Some cars only have their antenna as the top two wires on the back window demister

shat! Didn't realise this On this note. When I fitted the sound to the MX6 (mum's) I left the wires off to the electric aerial as whilst the elec' motor works well. The aerial itself stays up. Obviously it's broken the gear or whatever but I couldn't be bothered to try & fix it. Radio stations down my way are crap. CD heaven for now

Nah mine was aftermarket. Still haven't fitted it yet though, as i don't listen to the radio much, and even without the aerial the reception isn't affected much!
