Rod bolts: Differance between B6T to BPD?

Hey guys,

I'm in the process of building up a strong BP DOHC bottom end and have hit a slight snag which I'm hoping someone else can answer.....

I'm putting in a set of B6T rods into my BPD (N/A) as they are much stronger than the stock BPD ones, but it seems that the rod bolts have different sizes. I ordered a new set of ARP rod bolts (part # 118-6401), but the machine shop tells me these are 9mm, whereas the B6T rods (same as BPT) require 10mm bolts?!?!?!?!

ARP only list one part number for the B6/BP blocks. Is there another part number for B6T/BPT rod bolts?

The B6T rod bolts are not the same as BPT rod bolts. GTR\BPT\BP rods have the same bolts but
the B6T is all by itself. If you want to keep the ARP bolts I can sell you some GTR rods
if you would like. $250 The GTR rods are forged much stronger option. I was going to
rebuild my engine but have lost interest in my Astina these days and wont be anymore.

Happy to take the GTR rods instead as I'd prefer to have it all bolted together with ARP bolts! PM Sent re Rods.
