Ahmeds YLO-323 SP20

So i thought it was time I moved in here. Not really introducing myself anymore.

Mods thus far

Exterior
HID headlights
Dent in passenger front door
(waiting for paint - DGM autoexe replica lip from the US )
Mazdaspeed MS-01F in 16x7 +35 refinished by trivett tyres parra
Custom plates
Darkest legal tint
Rear guards rolled by sydney guard rolling
Side door mould delete
Tinted whites of taillights
Tinted side indicaters
Familia badge and badges painted black
SMD bulbs in foglights
SMD in Parker lights

Interior
AXS yellow seat covers - since removed

Audio
Pioneer 6" splits with tweeters
Kenwood 6"s in the rear. Soon to be fixed/replaced.
Kenwood single din head unit with iPod/mp3
Pioneer 800w (I think) 4ch amp
Alpine class D monoblock amp 700w (playing up - soon to be fixed)
2x alpine 10" type S subs.

Performance.
RS*R cat back exhaust 2,15" (I think, rupe what is it :P)
autoexe ram air intake from japan

Suspension
Pedders sports ryder springs 1.5" lower

Future plans
Black out headlight internals
Get passenger door repaired
Tidy up sound system wiring lol
Custom or autoexe grill, still to decide
Complete the exhaust system with extractors and highflow cat
Get rear tints down the 5% (if the Tinter ever come out of his hole lol)
Autoexe or similar rear wing but not anytime soon.

I'm currently doing paint my rear badges black there soaking in bleach to help get the chrome off and also deciding on tide height Luke you are and fog lights too... If u wanna do a yellow and black theme there are some tail light covers you can buy. There made by laminex

So I've done abit. (wasted a sat night :P)

Removed rear badges for painting

Also decided to tint my rear lights my self with night shades paint



Finished product. Minus badges


Looking good I think.(lol at my mate in the last pic. Was checking that there were in fact rays :P)

Dial in 2 degrees camber.
Buy new tail lights to fix the mess you just painted.

I dont mind the tail lights, have you thought about buffing them up to a nice shine?

Mmmm I may get some polish onto them tomorrow but I'm affraid of rubbing the new paint off lol

Lol project. No chamber as that just munches tyres out lol lowering is soon on the list.

Nice work so far !

My opinion with taillights, i would have tinted/painted all the red part and left the indicator as clear, would have suited your tinted windows and blended good, but thats me lol

But needs lowering to make it sit nicely

Keep it up !

PS : If not to hard paint those plastic strips on the doors the paint them the same colour as car would look mint ! Would be better than deleting them as it only takes one clown the the car park to open his door and have a nice dent/mark, and those strips would help and look good again my opinion lol

If you're painting the badges black/dark it'll look great with the lights, I just hope you can still clearly see your indicators.. :P

And my failed "YLO 323" badge . But the other badges should be back on tomorrow.



Ps: I just put in 2liters of oil. God I hope I havnt ****ed my engine

So I'm not entirely happy with the badges. As I was cutting the double sided tape it chipped the paint in some spots and was not a clean cut. May tale them off and get a mate of mine to professionally paint them, than use a silastic to put them on.

With my badges, I had them set for 24hrs to harden, and cut the double sided tape before putting them on the back, took ages but made sure I had all the pieces in the right places
